Britain's Got Talent Launches iPhone App among its Digital Offering to Support This Years Show

Following on from the phenomenal success of the digital offerings for Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, ITV and talkbackTHAMES digital announced today the return of the official website and the launch of a brand new, free Britain’s Got Talent iPhone App.

The App, created by talkbackTHAMES digital and sponsored by Domino’s Pizza, will be available to download from the iTunes store from 15th April. It’ll deliver the best Got Talent content in a handy, pocket-sized format with videos, news and photo galleries all configured for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Also part of the App is the infamous BGT buzzer.

The official Britain’s Got Talent website, www.itv.com/talent was produced by TalkbackTHAMES digital with ITV and is the online home of Britain’s Got Talent 2010. It will have all the latest news, views, images and videos, and feature exclusive backstage access and interviews with judges, presenters and contestants. Updated daily, a dedicated editorial team will bring breaking news as it happens, following the action from the auditions right through to the grand final. The site also features new look navigational functionally to prompt deeper engagement from the thousands of fans.

All highlight clips from each show will appear online as soon as they are broadcast, in addition to plenty of unseen behind the scenes footage. Video playlists will also make a return in 2010 so fans can easily enjoy the huge volume of content the site has to offer.

The official site continues to engage the online community. With richer content and more opportunities for fans to interact, this year’s site will be an even richer social platform giving users the opportunity to comment and discuss their views and opinions on all things BGT. Viewers can also join the Britain’s Got Talent Facebook fan page (facebook.com/BritainsGotTalent), follow BGT on Twitter (Twitter.com/GotTalent), and participate in the Live Chats on itv.com/talent where fans can comment on events live, as they unfold.
