School Kids Learn How to Bake the Perfect Pizza

ALTRINCHAM Preparatory School recently enjoyed a school visit that topped the lot when they were given a lesson in cooking the perfect pizza at Hale's Pizza Express.

During the visit the boys were able to bake fresh pizzas under the watchful eye of top chef Pawel, which they were then able to take home.

There were also lessons in cookery, nutrition, food hygiene and storage as the mini commis chefs toured the kitchen, fridges and freezers.

APS year two teacher Jayne Knowles said: "The visit is useful in bringing our science curriculum to life and the staff at Pizza Express are always very polite and helpful."

She added: "I have to admit this is one of favourite school trips, maybe because I also get my own freshly baked pizza to take home."
